Back |
Description
This program used the expertise of self-identified e-learning mentors to work with an allocated set of Diocesan Schools to lift the amount and quality of student learning sourced and created, virtually, through digital equipment, the Internet and packaged e-resources.
Self-Identified mentors were briefed and trained by the Diocese to deliver a Diocesan Catholic Schools Office prescribed professional development program that centres on needs that have been identified through a school survey conducted in 2008.
The program focused on e-learning possibilities in the KLA of English and will be delivered face-to-face, and virtually drawing on Quality Learning methods that have been developed over the last three years in the Diocese.
